ABOUT
Wii Sports went on sale in Japan on the same day as the Wii and includes five sports: tennis, baseball, bowling, golf and boxing. You swing the Wii Remote like a real racket, bat or bowling ball, and your Mii, a simple character you create yourself, copies your movements.
Because the controls matched real-life movements, people of all ages, including grandparents who had never played video games, could join in. It turned the Wii into a family console and made games a living room activity in Japan and around the world.
