ABOUT
Brain Age is a Nintendo DS game based on the work of Ryuta Kawashima, a brain scientist at Tohoku University. Each day you do short exercises such as quick math, reading aloud and memory tests, writing answers on the touch screen or speaking into the microphone, and the game gives you a "brain age".
Its Japanese title means "DS training for adults to strengthen the brain". It reached many people who did not usually play games, including older adults, and it was part of the boom that made the Nintendo DS hugely popular in Japan.
