ABOUT

Animal Crossing: Wild World is a Nintendo DS game in which you move into a small village full of animal neighbors. There is no main goal: you fish, catch bugs, plant flowers, decorate your house and pay off your home loan to a tanuki (raccoon dog) named Tom Nook, all following the real-world clock and calendar.

It was one of the first DS games to support Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, so you could visit friends' villages over the internet. Its relaxed style appealed to children and adults alike, and it became a major hit in Japan, where its title means "Come over to Animal Forest".
