Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G is an action game from Capcom for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). You take on quests to hunt giant monsters, then use the materials you collect to make stronger weapons and armor so you can face even bigger monsters.
Up to four players can hunt together by connecting their PSPs wirelessly, so gathering with friends in the same room to play became a popular way to spend time in Japan, especially among students. It became one of the best-selling PSP games in Japan.
