ABOUT
Super Mario Kart is a racing game from Nintendo in which Mario and his friends drive small go-karts. Driving skill matters, but you can also pick up items such as banana peels and shells and use them to slow down your rivals.
Its split-screen two-player mode, including a battle mode where players try to pop each other's balloons, made it a party favorite. It started the Mario Kart series, one of Nintendo's most popular, and new entries still sell in huge numbers in Japan.
