ABOUT
Final Fantasy is a role-playing game from Square, directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, with music by Nobuo Uematsu and artwork by Yoshitaka Amano. You form a party of four Light Warriors, choose a class for each one, such as Fighter, Thief or White Mage, and set out to bring light back to four darkened crystals.
Square was a small company at the time, and it is often said the game was called "Final" because Sakaguchi thought it might be his last. Instead it became a hit, and the series grew to stand beside Dragon Quest as one of the two biggest names in Japanese RPGs.
