ABOUT
Yo-kai Watch is a role-playing game from Level-5 for the Nintendo 3DS. A child receives a special watch that makes it possible to see yokai, mischievous spirits based on Japanese folklore, who cause small everyday troubles like making people forgetful or grumpy. You make friends with them and call them to fight at your side.
In 2014, with its TV anime, collectible toy medals and a dance song, Yo-kai Watch became a massive boom among children in Japan, and the medals often sold out in stores. It is a fun introduction to yokai, a part of Japanese culture with a long history.
