Pikmin 4 is a strategy adventure game from Nintendo, part of a series created by Shigeru Miyamoto. You lead dozens of small plant-like creatures called Pikmin to carry treasure, fight creatures and solve puzzles on a strange planet that looks a lot like our own world seen from the size of a bug.
It added a loyal space dog named Oatchi and made the series easier for newcomers. Pikmin has a special place in Japan: "Ai no Uta", a song from a 2001 Pikmin TV commercial, became a hit single. Pikmin 4 brought many new players to the series there.
