ABOUT
Momotaro Dentetsu, often called "Momotetsu", is a board game series created by Akira Sakuma that started in 1988. Players travel across a map of Japan by train, roll dice to move, and buy local businesses and specialties, such as regional foods, at real stations to grow their company.
This 2020 Nintendo Switch version, published by Konami, became a big hit and a favorite to play with family and friends. Because it is full of real place names and local products, it is also a fun way to learn about Japan, and a version for use in schools was later made as well.
