ABOUT
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the Nintendo Switch entry in the Animal Crossing series. You move to a deserted island, gather materials, make furniture and tools, and slowly turn the island into a lively home for you and your animal neighbors.
It came out in March 2020, just as people around the world were starting to stay home because of COVID-19. Visiting friends' islands online became a way to meet, and the game became a huge hit in Japan, where its title means "Gather together, Animal Forest".
