A-and they’re all gorgeous girls, but they’re also troublemakers who hate to study and are on the verge of flunking out! And his first task is simply gaining the sisters’ trust?! Every day is a party! The curtain is rising on the Nakano quintuplets’ quirky romantic comedy with five times the cute!!
Character analysis
Ichika carries herself as the most mature and decisive of the five sisters, an identity tied up in being the oldest, but that role sits uneasily with her own private insecurities and feelings. The tutoring arrangement with Futaro forces her to confront what she actually wants versus what being 'the eldest' is supposed to look like.
Nino is the most resistant to Futaro's tutoring and the most vocally suspicious of his motives, a defensiveness that the story gradually reveals is rooted in a specific past disappointment rather than simple stubbornness.
Miku rarely says much, but she pays close, careful attention to everyone around her, and her feelings come through in small acts rather than declarations. Her quiet persistence makes her one of the harder sisters to read, and arguably the hardest for Futaro to notice.
Yotsuba throws herself into effort and positivity more visibly than any of her sisters, which makes it easy to overlook how much she's actually struggling academically and emotionally underneath that energy.
Itsuki acts as the most responsible and self-sacrificing of the five despite being the youngest, often putting her sisters' needs ahead of her own in ways that quietly cost her.
Status evaluation
Character designs distinguish the five visually similar sisters well, though the art stays fairly standard for the genre.
The central mystery of which sister Futaro eventually marries drives steady, if sometimes repetitive, romantic tension.
Mistaken-identity gags between the five nearly identical sisters are a frequent, reliable source of humor.
Individual sister backstories add real emotional stakes, especially in the back half of the series.
This is a lighthearted romantic comedy with nothing frightening in it.
There is no violence in this series.
Keeping track of five visually similar sisters is the main demand on readers, though the plot itself stays simple.
This is a completed series. This figure has not been verified against a current source and should be treated as approximate.

“Five sisters who look identical on the page but read completely differently once you spend enough time with each of them.”
